Some believe that MOOCs will dramatically change the face of education by "Democratizing Education". Degrees will becoming a thing of the past, replaced by Micro-credentials as learning becomes more and more individualized and competency-driven.
The cost of education will be much lower as educational institutes will compete globally with government agencies, private industry and special interest groups for students who can be found anywhere in the world. |
